Meet the Doctor
Dr. Sherin George
Dr. Sherin George is the sole optometrist and the owner of Franklin Square Eye Care. She is passionate about her patients and their eye care needs. As such, her practice is centered around her commitment to professional excellence. Her attention to detail combined with an individualized approach to patient’s needs, sets her apart in her profession and keeps her patients come back year after year.
Dr. George received her undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Binghamton in 2000. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from State University of New York, State College of Optometry in 2004. She completed her residency at Northport Veterans Medical Center in 2005. Following her residency, she married her husband, Jason George, who is the optician at Franklin Square Eye care. They are happily married and are raising 3 amazing boys. Together, they are committed to serving our community with quality eyecare services.
Aside from being an optometrist and an amazing mom, she enjoys cooking healthy meals for her family, and loves reading. She recently took on a new hobby of outdoor running and has been loving it.
Her calm and welcoming personality makes her patients feel right at home as soon as they meet her. She looks forward to meeting you as well
